I continued exploring recent releases from HAAi, Lykke Li, Arcade Fire, Fontaines D.C., Porridge Radio, Horsegirl and The Smile on the show this week, while the retro alternative set was basically a total grab-bag of different mini-sets: a block of “Running Up That Hill” covers in honor of the Kate Bush “Stranger Things” renaissance, three more gems from Bush, a pair of tracks from Underworld, some ’80s synthpop and dreampop tunes, and a block of tracks from the Smashing Pumpkins, just ’cause I wanted to hear them!
